Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso dies at Nairobi Hospital

Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso has passed away at the Nairobi Hospital on Monday following a long battle with an unknown illness.

The Bomet Governor jetted into the country silently following medical treatment in the United Kingdom and India respectively.

59-year-old Joyce Laboso was admitted to United Kingdom where he was visited by ODM leader Raila Odinga.

Hon. Raila Odinga was in the company of Kenya High Commissioner to UK Manoah Esipisu as they wished her a quick recovery.

In June angry youths caused chaos during a prayer service organized for then ailing Bomet Governor Laboso.

Chaos erupted when Bishop Augustine Rugut said that some people are taking advantage of the Governor’s absence to sabotage her administration.

Luckily Bomet County Assembly leader comes to his rescue when the angry youth descended on him.
