Bomet police arrest a man suspected of killing lover’s child

Police in Bomet are holding a man suspected to have defiled a killed a 3-year-old girl belonging to her lover.

The man identified as Nathan Cheruiyot is reported to have locked himself in the house with the young girl when he committed the act.

At the time of the incident, the mother of the young girl who is also his lover was away only to find the body of her lifeless daughter at home.

“Police in Bomet have arrested a man suspected to have defiled and killed his lover’s 3-year old daughter at Kabisoge village. Nathan Cheruiyot Ngeno is said to have locked himself in the house with the toddler and defiled her while her mother away.” Sad Thika town Today

The news comes a day when another man in Kiganjo Estate killed his wife before surrendering to the police.

“A middle-aged man has murdered his wife in Kiganjo estate Corner 1 area and later surrendered himself to the police in Garissa. The body of the deceased has been taken to Gen. Kago Funeral Home.” Said Thika Town Today
