Gaborone United announced his departure shortly but did not sight any reasons.

This is the third consecutive club that the former AFC Leopards coach has left with the second one being Free State of South Africa.

He became a household name in Botswana when he coached Township Rollers.

While in Kenya, the Serbian announced his resignation citing personal reasons only to be confirmed as Free State coach afterward.
