Brazil’s President Jair Bolsonaro has tested positive positive for COVID-19 despite his evident defiance of advise from medical experts in a country that the virus has claimed the lives of more than 65,00 people.
Speaking to journalist from his residence, the Brazilian President appeared to be calm for a virus that has affected greatly his country behind U.S and Russia.
The 65-year-old president played down fears surrounding the virus as hailed unproven treatments that are working best to stop the virus from causing more harm.

He continued by revealing how he slowly started feeling unwell on Sunday before things became worse on Monday when he experienced muscle pain and fever.
Bolsonaro revealed to be under hydroxychloroquine treatment a non proven anti malaria drug that has been hinted to slow down the impact of virus.
Just like Donald Trump, Jair has criticized WHO saying the impact of the virus has been exaggerated and that Brazilians should not worry.
He has also made several public appearances without a mask risking the lives of many Brazilians who will follow suit his actions.
Health officials were also fired under his administration and replaced with an Army General who was tasked with the crisis.
In addition to that, he scrapped of part of requirements making it mandatory for people to wear masks in public.
