British Airways have announced plans to resume its flights to Cairo which were halted last week over security concerns.
In a statement, British Airways said that they will resume its flights following their review on security arrangements.
Last week on Saturday the airline suspended its flights to Egypt’s capital city inconveniencing most of its customers who were not informed of it.
Officials in Cairo remained adamant of being unaware of any security concerns.
UK foreign office issued a travel advisory to Britons warning of a heightened security concern in aviation services in Cairo.
“There’s a heightened risk of terrorism against aviation. Additional security measures are in place for flights departing from Egypt to the UK.” Read the travel advisory
German airline Lufthansa canceled its flights to the Egyptian capital but resumed its operation the following day.
