Detectives from the Serious Crimes unit has managed to arrest a businesswoman accused of swindling traders more than Ksh 10 million.
“Detectives attached to the Serious Crimes Unit (SCU) have today arrested a businesswoman over claims of swindling more than Sh10 million from traders in a dubious business of importing cereals.” said DCI
Linda Nyamburi Odhiambo is reported to have lured his victims by claiming she will import serials for them only to vanish with the money.

The suspect who is also the director of Clalinx Gen Supplies Ltd purports to be an importer of cereals such as Cotton seed, sunflower and soya beans from Malawi and Tanzania.
“Linda Nyamburi Odhiambo, the director of Clalinx Gen Supplies Ltd, is alleged to have been taking cash deposits from members of the public purporting to supply cotton seed cake, sunflower, soya beans, Pembe Millers’ flour and other foodstuff.
She purported to import the foodstuff from Malawi and Tanzania. She never delivered the goods after pocketing upfront payments. Detectives pounced on her at the Riara Junction Apartment in Kiambu County.
