Caitlyn Jenner has come out to shut down rumors of her being in the race to become the next Governor of California.
The news has been building up following the the possible recall election of Governor Gavin Newsom.
In a statement issued by Kylie and Kendal Jenner’s father’s manager Sophia Hutchins, the 71-year-old is at the moment very happy in her role to promote LGBT rights.

“Caitlyn is not running for governor, has never considered running for governor and is very happy doing the work that she is doing to promote LGBT rights,” Said Sophia Hutchins.
The retired Olympic Medalist has been rumored to have been in the race for the California Senatorial race and was to battle it with Dianne Feinstein in 2017.
In the same year, she took a sweep at President Donald Trump for attempting to reverse rules regarding transgender rights.
Governor Gavin Newsom has received backlash over the surge in COVID-19 numbers in the state and efforts to roll out vaccination.
Reports indicate that the Governor has also been criticized within his party and the process to collect enough signatures to recall elections is gaining momentum.
