Speaking after the match, the England man noted how some of the players are not at their best and that it is only them who can reverse the string of bad performances.
“Lampard on denies Chelsea players owe him anything to perform but says many aren’t doing well: “There are players who are not playing as well as they should do. I was a player and they are the only ones who can deal with that.” Said Fabrizio
According to the club’s board, they have a lot of expectations and that is something that will always be there.
“Frank Lampard: “Expectations at this club are high. That is something that will always be there. It is not my decision [if he stays]. Some things are always beyond your control. That I can’t answer”. Chelsea board now ‘more than disappointed’. Said Fabrizio
The loss leaves the Blues at position eight with 29 points from 19 matches played as Leicester went on top of the table with 37 points from the same number of matches played.
