Chelsea Callum Hudson-Odoi arrested over rape allegations

England and Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi was on Sunday arrested over allegation of rape before he was released afterwards.

The Sunday event happened when police and ambulances were called in for an emergency that a woman was feeling unwell.

Upon interrogation, the uknown woman claimed to have been raped before the police arrested Hudson-Odoi who was at the scene.

He was however bailed out and he is expected to answer to the charges come Mid-June as reported by several media stations.

Efforts to reach Chelsea for a comment failed as reports indicated that it was the woman who visited the England star at the address.

Callum was among the first proffessional players to confirm to have contracted the coronavirus.

He then sent a video on social media thanking everyone who prayed for his quick recovery saying that he was feeling better.

Recently his club Chelsea extended his contract for another five years as he joins other English premier League players training at home waiting for the season to resume.
