Chelsea survive Cardiff scare to record a win

Chelsea made a remarkable comeback to record a win against Cardiff City to reduce the pressure on coach Maurizio Sarri.

It was frustration for Chelsea who were held back from scoring in the first half following an impressive goalless first half by Cardiff.

The host took the leads three minutes into the second half thanks to a Victor Camarasa who curled the ball past Chelsea goalkeeper.

Chelsea fans were angered by the goal calling for the sucking of Maurizio Sarrio as the club’s coach.

Cesar Azpilucueta equalized for the Blues knocking home from an offside position before Ruben Loftus-Cheek doubling the lead breaking the hearts of Cardiff fans.

The lead leaves Chelsea in 6th position level on points with Arsenal who play on Monday. They remain a point behind Manchester United who won on Saturday.

The loss was a blow for Cardiff who sit in the relegation zone five points from the danger zone and eleven points clear of Fulham.
