Portugal has issued an official statement confirming that Christiano Ronaldo has tested positive for coronavirus.
According to the statement, the 35-year-old Juventus forward displayed no symptoms and has proceeded to quarantine as recommended by health experts.

The rest of the team has also undergone testing and have turned negative and are available for selection ahead of their Nations League ties.
Juventus will now miss the services of the forward as they face Crotone over the weekend and their Champions League tie against Dynamo Kiev in October.
Ronaldo currently holds the record of netting 100 international goals following the recent tournament with the Portuguese man leading his side to victories.
