Former radio presenter Ciku Muiruri has been awarded millions in a law suit against Standard Media and MP Mohammed Ali.
Ciku Muiruri had sued the two for using a clip about her in a documentary they aired a few years ago.
The process has taken time as termed by the former radio presenter but she finally believes the system works.
The money may not be enough to someone’s name but since she has been cleared, it is worth millions for Ciku.
She has however expressed her deepest gratitude to all those who stood by her and forgave all those who bashed her as she pointed out to Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko.
“High profile people like our governor Mike Sonko. who felt the need to comment about me and a situation he knew nothing about, I forgive you. For those who stood by me and defended me, may God bless you.”
Ciku revealed that she will use the money to educate a girl child especially one who wants to make a mark in the world.
“I will use this money for good. I will use it to educate a girl child. One whose dream is to make a mark on this world in a positive way. I will want her and other young ladies out there to know, that the road can be hard.”
