Citizen TV anchor Yvonne Okwara undergoes surgery

Citizen TV presenter and news anchor Yvonne Okwara has on Sunday undergone a surgery after falling ill.

In what seems to be a minor surgery the Citizen TV anchor took to social media to thank God for the successful surgery as she posted a picture of her arm.

Yvonne Okwara also revealed that the surgery is the second one in about 13 months she has had and that she will have a long Christmas ahead.

“It’s going to be a long Christmas. 2nd surgery in about 13 months! Recovery road ahead looks good. Back home now. Glad to be alive. Merry Christmas everyone!” Said Yvonne Okwara on social media.

From the picture posted by the Citizen TV anchor, Yvonne seems to also have an allergy reaction as she had a red strap on her hand labeled “allergy”.
