Manchester City tittle defense came crushing when they fell eight points adrift of Liverpool following their 2-0 defeat at Wolves.

Bothe goals by Wolves were netted by Adama Traore in the second half thanks to Raul Jimenez assists.

Traore scored his first goal in the 80th minute and it was his first goal since September last year.

In the extra minutes he was clear netting the second goal of the evening taking his club to 11th position, a point above Manchester United.

The last time Manchester City lost to a promoted side was last year when they were beaten by Huddersfield even though they had already won the title.

It is all roads clear for Liverpool who sit comfortably at the top position with 24 goals played meaning they have won all their fixtures.

Guardiola will be expected to pull a back to back winning streak to come close to league leaders or even go above them in the table.
