Chaos was witnessed at Nairobi City Hall as agitated MCA demanded the removal of Speaker Beatrice Elachi.
The wave of chaos at City hall come barely an hour after the under-fire Speaker reported back to the office after thirteen months of absence.
Speaking from her office, Elachi feared for her life blaming the majority leader of the county assembly for her troubles.
She was quoted saying that if anything happens to her life then the majority leader should be held responsible.
Nairobi MCAs voted against her in May blaming her for misappropriation of funds among other charges.
They alleged Beatrice Elachi squandered tax money for her private expenses during her stay in the office.
The Employment and Labour Relations Court found no reason to remove her from office angering the MCAs.
She also blamed them for the recent woes she is going through and even accused them of spreading false information.
Kenyans have however expressed their concerns requesting the embattled Speaker to step down to avoid further protest.
