Two primary students have been arrested by police in Gucha South, Kisii County for planning to stab three of their teachers.
The two pupils are reported to be in class six and seven respectively at Matangamano Primary School in Gucha South.
On the day of the incident, the class six pupil is reported to have carried the knife to attack the teachers who had requested to know as to why they failed to be in school.

The class seven pupil who was also arrested after the incident is reported to have been an accomplice pending investigation.
According to Citizen TV, the incident has since been confirmed by police in Kisii County pending further investigation.
The news comes at a time when cases of student stabbing teachers are n the rise in the country following the resumption of classes.
Recently, a form three student stabbed two of his teachers who requested to know why he attended the morning preps late.
One of the teachers was discharged as the one was admitted with serious knife wounds in his shoulder and abdomen.
