It is not clear as to why the venue was changed but the meeting will be fully packed come Saturday.

The news comes at a time when Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa and Nyali counterpart saw their planned press conference interrupted by goons.

They accused Mombasa Governor Hassan Ali Joho of the incident.

They further warned of similar consequences if the team moves to DP Ruto’s home ground.

Leaders allied to DP Ruto cited intimidation and threats but insist they will attend the event.

“I have been threatened that if I attend the Mombasa BBI meeting I shall be humiliated by being denied a seat, not being allowed to talk or even if I am allowed to talk I shall be heckled.

If that’s what it takes to unite this country so be it&I am ready to absorb.Tukutane Mombasa.” Said Senator Kipchumba Murkomen
