Court detains four Chinese nationals for three days

Milimani Law Courts has on Monday detained the four Chinese nationals arrested on Sunday for three more days.

Passing the decision, the court ruled out a request to have the four to remain in custody for 21 days to pave way for investigations.

The four who include Deng Hailan, Ou Quiang, Chang Yueping band Yu Ling were arrested following a video showing Deng, the manager canning a Kenyan worker.

It is reported that the four who run a restaurant in Kileleshwa have the tendency of punishing employees when they wrong.

In the video, Simon Oseko the victim is seen receiving a thorough beating for allegedly reporting late to work.

It is not the first time Deng has canned his staff as some are reported to have quit due to the tendency.

At the moment, the charge facing them is assault causing actual body harm.
