Kenya has confirmed 52 more COVID-19 cases raising the number of confirmed cases to 1,161.
The new cases are from 2,567 samples tested in the last 24 hours bringing the total number of samples tested to 51074.
Nairobi recorded the highest numbers with 23 with Mombasa coming second with 7 cases only.

Five more patients were discharged raising the number of recoveries to 380.
Truck drivers were called upon by Health CS Mutahi Kagwe to ensure that they are tested in advance before they begin their journey.
By doing so, they will cut down the time spent on the road to be tested as has been the case for sometime now.
CS Mutahi Kagwe noted that many coronavirus patients are dying at home thus risking the lives of many others around them.
Parents have also been called upon to take their children for immunization as it is a necessity.
