Kenya has Saturday confirmed 699 new cases of COVID-19 from a sample size of 7,175 pushing the number of confirmed cases to 25,837.
Confirming the latest news was Health CS Mutahi Kagwe who said 24 of the new cases are foreigner and 675 of them being Kenyans.

In terms of gender 427 of them were make and 272 being females all aged between 1-years and 85-years.
At the same time, CS Mutahi Kagwe confirmed 781 patients who had recovered bringing to 11,899 the number of recoveries in the country.
The number of recoveries comprises of 656 home-based patients and 125 who were discharged from various hospitals in the last 24-hours.
In the same 24-hours, 5 patients died due to complications caused by the virus bringing to 418 the number of deaths so far confirmed.
