Tanzania President John Pombe Magufuli has shocked many when he revealed to have duped scientists with fake animal and plant samples.

Speaking during an address, Magufuli revealed how his government gave samples of oil, paw paw, goat and sheep meat human names to determine authenticity of COVID-19 results being issued.

In his speech, he revealed how they labeled oil samples Hamza, a 30-year-old woman, paw paw and Elizabeth Anne (26) among others.

It was to his surprise that the scientists revealed that both paw paw and goat meats came back positive.

President Magufuli was speaking as he called all laboratories in the country to be investigated over fake results.

He continued by saying he cannot accept copies and pasted results in the country as he gave example of how many countries are suffering because of the pandemic.

The head of state questioned the authority people have developed that hinders others from worshiping.

“Things to do with copy and paste in this country we cannot do, there are some of our people who have closed their borders and economy and you can see how they are suffering.

We as a country have 16 coronavirus deaths as at now, it is a time we are being tested our faith especially the religious leaders.

How can you block people from going to worship at the mosque and churches that you did not build yourself? what authority do you have?”
