CS Dr. Fred Matiang’i opens a passport issuance centre in Nakuru

Interior CS Dr. Fred Matiang’I has on Wednesday opened up a passport application/issuance centre in Nakuru.

The new application/issuance centre is part of the government’s effort to rationalize issuance of the new generation passports.

Other stations that have been set up by Interior CS Dr. Fred Matiang’I include Kisii, Eldoret and Embu and six others in diaspora.

“Dr.@FredMatiangi has opened a passport application/issuance centre in Nakuru as part of the government’s efforts to rationalize issuance of the new-generation passports. Three other stations have been set up in Kisii, Eldoret and Embu and six others in the diaspora.” Said the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government.

Passport application and issuance were previously done in Nairobi, Mombasa, and Kisumu. The centres particularly that of Nairobi, Nyayo House saw long queues
