ICT CS Joe Mucheru has stepped up quickly to correct a previous error where he appointed a dead leader.

Joe Mucheru through a gazette notice appointed Charity Kochalle in place of Robert Kochalle who he had initially appointed.

In what has been termed as a smart move, Charity is the wife of the former KFB member Robert Kochalle.

“Joe Mucheru is gifted, effective and efficient. He obtained letters of administration for the deceased Robert Kochalle in a record 1 day and appointed the deceased’s wife. Mucheru is the only hard and smart working Cabinet Secretary.” Said Lawyer Nelson Havi

During the initial mistake, KFCB boss Ezekiel Mutua termed the issue as a small issue blown out of proportion.

“Small issue being blown out of proportion. The Board presented the notification to the Ministry for replacement and inadvertently he was reappointed. It was not CS Mucheru’s mistake at all as the conversation started when KFCB was under the Ministry of Sports & Culture.” Said Mutua

He continued by saying the mistake was not of CS Mucheru as the names were forwarded when KFCB was under the ministry of sport and culture.
