On Monday morning Environment Cabinet Secretary Keriako Tobiko, Tourism Cabinet Secretary and other top government officials paid a courtesy call to the office of Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho.
The meeting comes at a time when both Jubilee and ODM leaders come together following March 9th Uhuru-Raila handshake.
Recently Mombasa County has been making headlines due to the increased dumping especially at the Kibarani dumpsite.

Earlier today,the Nation Executive Committee members led by Chairman Kareke Mbiuki recommended reclamation of Kibarani dump site which is said to have been grabbed.
Environment CS Keriako Tobiko was asked to oversee the order.
