Safaricom has rolled out a data bundle with no expiry date as revealed by the telecom giants themselves.
Customers wishing to subscribe to the service will have to choose the specific bundle type from their mobile phone and complete the transaction.

How to subscribe to Safaricom data bundle with no expiry
One will have to dial *544# then select option 1 which is a data bundle with no expiry date.
The next step will be to select if you are making the purchase for yourself or for someone else. If it’s for you, press 1 and proceed to the next step.

You will be asked to enter the amount you wish to spend depending on your budget.
Select the payment method you wish to complete the transaction if it is through Mpesa or from your airtime.

Complete the process by selecting the payment option.
What led to the new service by Safaricom
The new service rolled out by Safaricom follows a suit filed by Lawyer Adrian Kamotho.

Kamotho sued three telecommunication giants, Safaricom, Airtel and Telkom over data bundle expiry.
In his suit, he called on the Communication and Multimedia Appeal Tribunal to see that customers enjoy their bundles with no limits.
He also called upon the freedom of customers to transfer the bundles to another party at no cost.
Countries like Ghana and South Africa have already implemented the new changes that allow data bundle to roll over to the next month.
