DCI accused of illegally seizing Miguna Miguna’s vehicle

Dr. Miguna Miguna has on Saturday accused the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) for seizing his vehicle ahead of his January 7th arrival.

Taking on social media, Dr. Miguna Miguna revealed that at around 12:30pm on Saturday his vehicle was “illegally” seized by the now re-branded flying squad officers.

According to the Kenyan-Canadian lawyer the car whose make is a Mercedes Benz was seized from one Ferdinand Ogumah.

He further revealed that the intention of the Special Service Unit is to install surveillance devices to monitor his movement within the country.

“To DCI Kenya Kinoti: At around 12:30PM today, 5 heavily-armed Flying Squad officers now calling themselves “Special Service Unit” illegally seized my vehicle from Ferdinand Ogumah in Nairobi and detained it, most likely to install surveillance devices. Release my vehicle!”

The embattled lawyer was deported outside the country following the controversial swearing in of ODM leader Raila Odinga.

He claimed to have tortured in the process as he called on the government to release his passport.

During media interviews, he has been against the governance of President Uhuru Kenyatta as he also took a jab at ODM leader Raila Odinga.
