Dele Ali of Tottenham Hotspurs has been slapped with a one-match ban following a coronavirus post.
The 24-year-old England International was also slapped with a 50,000 dollar fine following the social media post joking about the pandemic.
In the short video, Ali could be seen wearing a mask before zooming in on a man of Asian origin equipped with a hand wash.

In his defense he says that he quickly deleted the video upon realizing that it was not right.He however blames his friend who he says sold it to a media urgency.
Speaking after the verdict, he apologized over the incident accepting the ban and fine imposed on him.
He continues by saying how glad he was that the video was not misunderstood for racism as it something that he does not promote at all.
The ban will see the England man miss the club’s clash against Manchester United on 19th June when the league resumes.
