Denmark train accident kills six

Six people are feared dead after a train they were traveling in crashed on a bridge in Denmark.

The train at the time of the accident is reported to have 13 passengers and three staff before it collided with a cargo train travelling the opposite direction.

The two trains are said to have collided at the Great Belt bridge between the Danish Island of Zeeland and Fyn.

Bad weather can be blamed for the accident as train lines had been closed because of the strong winds in the area.

The cargo train at the time of the accident had Carlsberg Lorrie which are said to have hit the passenger train from the side prompting both trains to stop suddenly.

An emergency response center has already been erected as families are urged to contact their relatives to know if they are okay.

At the moment transport at the scene of the accident has been cut off.
