Others claimed to be broke as they directed Itumbi to turn to the budget set aside for emergencies.

“We are broke!!! Kenyans are broke! The government has already stole alot and enough from us. Let them use the money allocated for disasters in the budget to help the victims. Pesa ya El-nino mlikula yooote.” Said Cassidy

The appeal comes a day after DP William Ruto visited the affected areas together with Senator Kipchumba Murkomen.

He pledged to oversee their well being as he airlifted a team of doctors to assist the locals.

A helicopter was also set aside by the DP to deliver medicines, food, and all other basic needs.
