Kenyan football star Dennis Oliech has hanged his boots following lack of interest by Kenya Premier League clubs to sign him.
Dennis Oliech who had announced his interest to bounce back to the KPL with either Wazito or Bandari made the decision following the January transfer period.
In a statement seen by News Moto, Oliech said since their is only a limited time left for the transfer window to close and neither the two clubs have shown interest to sign then its best he hangs his boots.
The former Gor Mahia striker took highlighted the struggles the league is facing evident from the strikes and walkovers seen by the clubs.
He accused the management of playing politics that is slowly killing the league slowly with time.
Oliech revealed he will focus on businesses and stay away from football even on matters being a coach.
He however promised to use his connections to ensure that young talented players get opportunities to grow themselves.
In 2019 the former Nantes striker joined Gor Mahia on a two year contract that ended unceremoniously after he fell out with the management.
Internationally Oliech has played for Auxerre, Ajaccio, Nantes and Al-Arabi in Middle East.
He managed to score a total of 35 goals for Harambee Stars becoming the second highest goal scorer.
