DJ Arafat funeral: drama as fans open coffin to confirm body

DJ Arafat funeral service turned into a chaotic scene as fans opened his coffin to confirm his body.

In a shocking video making round on social media, hundreds of fans could be seen opening the coffin of the late celebrity to coffin if it is really him.

The drama did not end there as they went ahead to tear his clothes to check for tattoos of the late king of dance music.

A heavy contingent of police were forced to lobby teargas into the air to disperse the crowd and ensuring the body is safe.

DJ Arafat funeral service which was organised by the state in honor of the contribution he brought saw a key number of celebrities including legend footballer DiIdier Drogba.

On Thursday a concert was organised in remembrance of the legend attracting the likes of Fally Ipupa, Koffi Olomide, Davido and Diamond Platinumz.

The government had plans underway as they renovated the Félix Houphouët-Boigny stadium which was under construction.
