Incumbent President Donald Trump has formally paved way for transition of power to President-Elect Joe Biden.
The hand-over process was signed off by the U.S Federal agency who made available the necessary resources required to make it a success.

According to Emily Murphy the Chief of General Service Administration, she noted how seriously she takes her role thus approving the resources.
The same sentiment was echoed by Donald Trump who confirmed to have communicated to Emily Murphy on the same as well as his team.
“In the best interest of our Country, I am recommending that Emily and her team do what needs to be done with regard to initial protocols, and have told my team to do the same.” said Trump.
The news comes at time when various politicians and lawmakers have piled pressure on the office of GSA to recognize the just concluded election results and approve the transition.
