Two goals from Dortmund captain Marco Reus and Paco were enough to give the home team a deserved three points against Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
Bayern Munich took the lead in 26th minute through Robert Lewandoski following a wonderful cross from Gnabry who played from the right side.
Dortmund were struggling to keep up with Bayern Munch who took most of the possession In the first half. Ribery drove the ball forward from the flanks, Muller controlled the ball from the front as Lewandoski applied pressure to Dortmund’s defense.
Bayern had several of their chances saved or blocked by Dortmund goalkeeper sending both teams halftime with Bayern leading a goal to nill.
In the second half Dortmund changed the play attacking a pushing the ball forward. Sancho who played from the wing was so fast to be stopped by Bayern’s defense.
Dortmund’s persistence paid off four minutes into the second half when they were awarded a penalty after Marco Reus was brought down by goalkeeper Nuer.
Reus converted the penalty into a goal after sending the German goalkeeper the wrong way.
Three minutes later Bayern extended their lead through Poland striker Lewandoski who converted Kimmich cross into the back of Dortmund’s net.
Things got worse for Bayern as Dortmund applied more pressure through Sancho who pushed the ball forward. In the 67th minute Marco Reus was at it again after beating Nuer with a wonderful volley that went straight to the left side of Bayern Munich’s net.
Dortmund fans could be heard backing up their team and encouraging them more sending the Bundesliga giants into a panic mode. In the 79th minute Bayern Munich defense was at it again when Paco won the ball before rushing forward where he bet Nuer and sending it at the back of the net.
The win places Dortmund in number one position four points clear of second place Borussia Mochengladbach.
Bayern Munich are in third place a point a head ofShalke 04 who are in fourth position with 19 points.
