Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has on Friday morning held talks with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga in Mombasa.
The two leaders met at the Mombasa International Airport VIP lounge but nothing much about their meeting has been revealed by both parties or those close to them.
Speaking after the picture of the two surfaced online, DP Gachagua noted how much respect he has for senior citizens of the country.

“We have tremendous respect for our senior citizens. I was delighted this morning to have a tete a tete with our senior citizen former Prime Minister Raila Odinga,” Said Gachagua
It has been revealed that the Deputy President was heading to Nairobi after attending the Council of Governor’s meeting and Hon.Raila was heading to Machakos for an Azimio Parliamentary meeting.
On Thursday during the searing-in ceremony of Mombasa Governor Abdulswamad Nassir, the former Prime Minister extended his dissatisfaction with the Supreme Court verdict as he threatened to lead a demonstration to court.
Raila was speaking after retreating with his entire family to Zanzibar for healing following the just concluded elections.
