Deputy President William Ruto has on Wednesday met Kenya Council of Imams and Ulamaa leaders where he gifted them goats ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations.
The celebrations which are to begin on Friday, will mark an end to a month of fasting and reflection among the Muslim faithful across the world.
“Shared mbuzi gifts for the needy with the Kenya Council of Imams and Ulamaa led by the leader of the Landhies Mosque Sheikh Ahmed Athman, among others, ahead of the Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations, Karen, Nairobi County.” Said DP Ruto.

Speaking after the meeting, the Deputy President noted that long month spiritual renewal by the Muslims as he wished them blessings in years ahead.
“We pay tribute to our Muslim Faithful for their commitment and sacrifice to engage in the month-long intense spiritual renewal marked by prayers, fasting and introspection. May the blessings you received during Ramadan be with you in the year ahead.” Said DP William Ruto.
