DCI director George Kinoti noted that the veteran presenter was not only a friend but also a partner who promoted close ties with the directorate.
“The Director of Criminal Investigations Mr George Kinoti, has received news of the passing away of veteran Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) Swahili news anchor Badi Muhsin, with great sadness.
Mr Kinoti, who is yet to come to terms with the news of Badi’s demise has termed his sudden death as shocking. The celebrated Swahili news anchor was not only a close friend to the DCI Director, but also one of our greatest partners who embraced and promoted closer ties between the DCI and members of the public.
The broadcast legend who has worked as an anchor for three decades has recently been at the forefront in promoting our Fichua kwa DCI tip line, to encourage members of the public to report crime.
Mr Kinoti has eulogized the veteran news anchor as a humble servant of enviable personality, adding that the Directorate of Criminal Investigations has indeed lost a great friend and partner whose contribution in fostering a safe and secure environment amongst the community shall be greatly missed. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.” Said DCI
