Deputy President William Ruto has slammed a story by Standard Media as fake news saying he was nowhere near the airport as reported.
In the news, Standard Media explains why President Uhuru Kenyatta avoided DP William Ruto at JKIA last week on Friday.
The magazine continues by saying that President gave the DP a wide berth following sentiments by allies of the DP.
“FAKE NEWS ALERT!!! I was nowhere near JKIA. I am NOT surprised that some media houses & their owners are this desperate. Tuwasamehe tu!!” Said DP William Ruto
It Is not the first time the DP has blamed the media for issuing false statements gearing to the 2022 elections.

DP William Ruto has however played down questions as to whether he has plans to ditch Jubilee Party come the elections.

Addressing media statements, DP Ruto has insisted that their relationship with the President is intact and that the party Is stronger and in line with their agenda to Kenyans.
In addition to that, he has slammed leaders from other political parties especially ODM leader Raila Odinga saying he wants to split the party but in vain.
Asked as to declare his wealth, the DP requested media houses to do their home and make applications to receive the declarations.
