The Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) has withdrawn charges leveled against former Principal Secretary Kamau Thugge in the Kimwarer-Arror dam scandal.
Also let free by the DPP is the former Principal Secretary in the docket of Tourism and Wildlife Susan Koech implicated in the scandal.
The DPP through a senior assistant in his office confirmed that the two former government officials will testify against former Treasury CS Henry Rotich implicated in the same scandal.

Appearing before the court both Thugge and his lawyer Phillip Murgor agreed to the decions as he pleaded to have his passport and Ksh 15 million cash bail issued back by the court.
Both Kamau Thugge, Susan Koech and Henry Rotich were accused of abuse of office, conspiracy to commit an economic crime, failure to comply with tender processes and management of financial resources in their care.
Also implicated in the scandal is David Kimosop ( former KMVDA managing director), Kennedy Nyachiro and Titus Muriithi both in the Ministry of Treasurer.
