Lawyer and politician Dr. Miguna Miguna has announced when he will come back to Kenya.
The dual Citizen of Kenya and Canada was deported to Canada in March after the heated swearing in of opposition leader Raila Odinga.
Things seemed to be heading in the right direction when ODM leader Raila Odinga intervened but a new twist came up. Dr. Miguna Miguna fired shots at Mr. Raila Odinga accusing him of betrayal when he made sure he was sworn in at Uhuru Park.
“ I am coming back on September 4th” said Dr. Miguna Miguna on twitter after hitting out on President Uhuru Kenyatta and once a close friend Mr. Raila Odinga.
“For the cowards with low self-esteem celebrating the fact that Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila odinga destroyed my valid Kenyan passport and my house, abducted, detained and tortured me before forcefully removing me, mark this in PERMANENT INK: I am coming back after September 4th. Viva!” Said Miguna on twitter.
Ever since his deportation from Kenya, Miguna Miguna has been bitter of the current regime asking to questions as to why he was detained after the searing in. He has constantly called Mr. Raila Odinga a betrayer and a coward who surrendered to his enemies.
“Mr. RailaOdinga cannot be compared to Nelson Mandela. Mandela did NOT betray his comrades nor did he cowardly surrender to Botha and the Nationalist Party; he agreed to be released on condition that Apartheid was DISMANTLED and FRESH ELECTIONS held. RailaOdinga is a sellout.” Dr. Miguna Miguna said.
During his arrest, the one gubernatorial candidate of Nairobi County saw his police break in before arresting him, a question that he still calls out for answers.
“Both @UKenyatta and @RailaOdinga claim that their hand-cheque has ensured that “no Kenyan property will be destroyed because of politics.” Why was my house number 486 Runda Meadows destroyed? Why was I abducted, detained, tortured and charged with TREASON for swearing-in RAO?” asked Dr. Miguna.
