Six German tourists are feared dead after a drunk driver rammed into a group of people in the northern side of Italy.
About eleven others sustained injuries some being very serious following the Sunday incident at South Tyrol.
The suspect, 27-years of age is reported to have failed an alcohol test and was under the police radar for previous manslaughter.
The six German tourists were standing by the roadside when the drunk driver sent the vehicle into them killing them.
Luttach, the area of the accident is knwon to be a popular tourist center as many flock it year in, year out.
