Residents of Eastleigh have on Thursday protested the removal of Nairobi County majority leader Abdi Guyo.
Taking to the streets of Eastleigh the residents termed the call for his resignation as political castigated.
The protest comes a day after the majority leader was blamed for the woes happening to Nairobi Speaker Beatrice Elachi.
Elachi who was resuming office after 13 months of being away was received with chaos as MCAs stormed City Hall demanding her exit.
Speaking to the media, Beatrice Elachi blamed Abdi Guyo as the cause of her problems and even termed him as untouchable.
She however vowed to maintain her position and fight for justice regardless of what may happen.
Immediately after property of unknown value was destroyed at City Hall, Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko called for his resignation as Nairobi County majority leader.
Leaders allied to Elachi have termed Guyo as a cartel within the county terrorizing leaders in office without fear.
