Former Sport Cabinet Secretary Rashid Echesa has sued the government following his arrest over the recent Matungu killings.
Last week Echesa was arrested alongside Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala and Mayoni MCA Libinus Oduor.
It due to the arrest that the former sports CS has sued Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) Noordin Haji, Inspector General of Police Hillary Mutyambai, Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) boss George Kinoti and Attorney General Kihara Kariuki.
In order filled at the Kakamega High Court, the accused have been ordered to appear for the mentioning of the case on May 24th.
