Eddie Butita quits NTV’s the Trend after 5-years

Comedian Eddie Butita has quit NTV after five-years of service as revealed on Friday by the stand up comedian himself.

Butita revealed how he got the job at NTV which started off as one time appearance and later turning out to be a permanent thing working alongside Amina Rabar.

He continued by thanking everyone he has worked with, the growth he received at the Aga Khan based station.

“It has been 5 years of a good ride on the trend TTTT it all started with just a one appearance and became a permanent job.

I would like to thank Amina Abdi Rabar and the panelist team for being more than colleagues our time together was worth it I learnt laughed and changed A lot that I was able to. It is time to give chance to other talents to get an opportunity to grow and shine with greatness.” Said Eddie Butita.

Among the people the comedian mentioned was former the Trend host Larry Madowo who he thanked for believing in him in addition to his fans.

“Special thanks to NTV Kenya for the opportunity we are still together in this journey. Thank you Larry Madowo for believing in me and giving me the first chance to be on the show the rest was history. Big thanks to my fans, I have got more in store for you this is just the begining of another Chapter in my Comedy Career.” Said Butita
