Manchester United striker Edison Cavani has extended his stay at the Premeir League club after signing his contract on Monday.
The former PSG striker has been top of coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who has been pushing to have him stay following a spectacular display ever since joining them on free transfer.
“Edinson Cavani has signed his contract extension with Manchester United, here we go! The agreement has been completed, Cavani has accepted to stay after Man Utd board and Solskjaer were pushing to keep him. Confirmed and done deal.” Said Fabrizio Romano.

Speaking after the news, Cavani revealed his excitement as he looks forward playing infront of Manchester United fans as clubs prepare to welcome fans in stadiums ahead of government announcement.
“Here I felt the confidence of the manager. I’ve not yet been able to play in front of the Old Trafford crowd and that is something that I cannot wait to do” Said Cavani.
The news comes at time when the Red Devils pile pressure on league leader Manchester City as they have to wait longer to be named the Premier League champions.
On Sunday, Cavani was on target once again as Manchester United came from behind to beat Aston Villa at Villa Park.
