DCI detectives have recovered Ivory worth Ksh 18 million in Makobeni village, Rabai following a tip from the public.
The 35 pieces of elephant tusks weighing 18 kilograms saw the arrest of two suspects John Chisiwa Ngoma and Mwachi Mgaza who will be arraigned in court on Wednesday.

Hailey visit to Inspector General
In other news, British High Commissioner to Kenya Nic Hailey paid a courtesy visit to bid farewell to the Inspector General.
He thanked the IG for the great corporation, support, and partnership during his tour of duty in Kenya.
The IG on his part assured Nic Hailey of his commitment to continue implementing police reforms through partnering with other stakeholders.
