Former Football Kenya Federation (FKF) President Nick Mwendwa has been arrested again on Friday along Kiambu road and taken to DCI headquarters for grilling. It is however not clear why he was arrested.
The news comes barely a day after he was released from custody following an application by the state to close his file.

Appearing before Milimani Law Court, the news was welcomed by his team of lawyers including LSK President Nelson Havi with the court ordering the release of Ksh 4 million cash bail placed by the embattled FKF boss.
Mwendwa was arrested following allegations of misappropriation of funds as Sports CS Amina Mohamed called for immediate audit of the federation’s accounts.
A caretaker committee was established by the Sports CS causing problems with FIFA who threatened to ban football activities in the country. FIFA also extended an olive branch requesting discussion to solve the ongoing stalemate.
