An employee of Deputy CJ Philomena Mwilu has been arrested by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) for giving false information.
The employee identified as Cosmas Mutua Daudi is said to have been abducted in November 2017 by unknown people in a motorcycle who demanded him to show him the house of the Deputy CJ Philomena Mwilu.
Mr. Cosmas was recorded to having said that he was walking along Makindu road when three people stopped him and asked him where his employer lived.
He refused to disclose the information and he was abducted, forced on their motor bike before they dropped him off at Adams Arcade, Muringa road.
Speaking following the statement by the employee, DCI boss George Kinoti said that they established it was a false statement presented to the police and no such thing happened.
A month before the statement, Deputy Mwilu’s bodyguard was shot by unknown men along Ngong Road when he was running an errand for her employer.
His firearm was stolen during the incident. Mr. Mutua the employee will be arraigned in court on Monday as investigations continue as whether he was working alone or taking instructions from someone else. Graft charges.
Deputy CJ in the meantime is under investigation into graft charge allegations where she is said to have use her office for personal gain, receiving gifts in terms of cash and failing to pay taxes.

The DPP Noordin Haji was confident that the evidence they have was sufficient to prosecute her.
The case took a new twist after the Anti-Corruption court suspended all proceeding against her to allow the High Court to correct and error in their order.
The case is yet to be concluded and verdict to be passed.
