Empoli have sacked their first team coach Aurelio Andreazzoli and his assistants Giacomo Lazzini and Andrea Aliboni.
The news comes at a time when Empoli has been recording poor results in the Italy Serie A campaign having lost four of its last five matches.
Through there official website Empoli did not go in depth as to why they have sacked the coach but thanked him and the assistants for their contribution to the club and wishing them the best in their future endeavors.
“The Empoli FC announces that it has relieved the position of technical manager of the First Team Aurelio Andreazzoli and his collaborators Giacomo Lazzini and Andrea Aliboni.
To Mr. Andreazzoli, protagonist with our colors of the wonderful ride that in the past season has allowed the club to go back to limestone the stage of the highest series, go the most heartfelt and sincere thanks for the work done.

In their last two games, Empoli faced its toughest challenge when they were up against Juventus and Napoli.
In both matches they conceded a total of 7 goals, 2 from Juventus and 5 goals from Napoli In a home and away fixture.
So far there have been rumours linking any manager to take over Aurellio’s job at Empoli.
