Ethiopian Airlines have on Thursday come clean on the issue of Harun Maalim Hassan who was left stranded at JKIA airport in Nairobi.
Addressing the issue on social media, Ethiopian Airlines clarified that Mr. Harun Maalim Hassan was not accepted due to misinformation.
They continued by saying that they are working on the recovery and hope that Harun will accept their apology and offer.

They continued by saying that they are working on the recovery and hope that Harun will accept their apology and offer.
The Airline finally assured its esteemed clients that the encounter does not define their service.

“Mr. Harun Maalim Hassan booked on ET309/27Aug19, Nairobi-Addis was not accepted due to miscommunication.
We’ve been working on the recovery & hope Mr. Hassan will accept our apologies & offer. We assure the encounter does not define our standard of service.”
Mr. Harun’s case was highlighted by the author and social justice communicator himself who said he was denied to travel to the USA because he was on a wheelchair.
He further pointed out at one customer service lady who he described as being rude and left him with no provision for assistance.
“Today was denied to travel 2 USA by @flyethiopian bcoz of my wheelchair.

The lady in yellow was rude & insensitive. She said no provision for assistance. They left me alone& stranded with no options.” Said Harun.
