Euro 2020 games have been postponed for a whole year due to coronavirus fears gripping the world.
The decision was arrived at following a joint video conference involving European football bosses on Tuesday.
In what was was set to begin n 12 June 2020 and end in one month’s time will now begin in 11th June 2021 and end on 11th July the same year.

The news will pave way for all other European matches currently postponed to complete their piled up schedule on time.
Also set to begin next year is the European Under 21 championship and the National League.
By postponing the Euro 2020 games, the governing body will be giving time for the host countries.
Football clubs and teams have called upon to come together especially at this time to ensure that the storm ahead passes by.
Uefa has promised to recheck the football callender to ensure that all matches are planned out well and spread over the period of time to come.
